Donald Trump, U.S. president from 2017-2021, was a businessman who became a politician for the first time as president. The work of the Trump Administration included reforming the U.S. tax code, renegotiating trade agreements with Mexico, Canada, China, Japan, and South Korea, expanding the military, defeating the self-proclaimed Islamic State (ISIS), responding to the opioid crisis, improving access to healthcare for veterans and appointing federal judges, including nominating three U.S. Supreme Court justices. The Trump Presidential Library is at the National Archives and Records Administration. NARA will operate the Trump Library through both traditional and digital access, per the Presidential Records Act.
